St. Paul is buzzing with two unique celebrations this week—the debut of the city’s very own Monopoly board on August 14 at Can Can Wonderland, and the Irish Fair of Minnesota which wrapped up on Sunday with music, dance, food, and family fun to Harriet Island!

The long-anticipated St. Paul edition of Monopoly will officially debut at an exclusive event on August 14, 2025, at Can Can Wonderland in St. Paul, featuring local dignitaries including the mayor. This special edition captures the city’s unique landmarks and spirit, following a summer of community input to help shape the board’s design.

Irish Fair at Harriet Island

Irish culture came alive on Harriet Island with three days of music, dancing, storytelling, artisan vendors, family fun, and authentic cuisine. Attendees enjoyed lively performances, cultural workshops, and entertainment across multiple stages—bringing the community together and celebrating the rich traditions of Ireland.

June Berkowitz, the owner of Saint Paul’s iconic Nina’s Coffee Café, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched to give June the time and resources to focus on her recovery. Please consider contributing here.

Ward 4 Special Election Candidates
