SELBY AVE JAZZFEST

🎷 Selby Ave JazzFest returns Saturday, Sept. 13 at Selby & Milton in Saint Paul—free and family-friendly. Groove to live sets from Selby Avenue Brass Band, Walker West ensembles, Capri Big Band, Ashley DeBose, LA Buckner & Big Homie, and Jamecia Bennett. Hosted by T Mychael Rambo, the day also features kids’ activities, artisan displays, great food, and a Flash Mob Band kickoff at 11:30 a.m. (sheet music provided).

✨ Extras include a Friday masterclass at Walker West, a Saturday evening Jazz Jam, and a free Sunday masterclass.

Bring the neighbors and celebrate Saint Paul’s signature jazz and community tradition.

PALMER’S FINAL BLOWOUT

Palmer’s Bar takes its final bow with a marathon sendoff featuring live bands, a New Orleans–style jazz funeral, and Cornbread Harris closing out the 119-year institution’s last night. Join the farewell on Sunday, September 20th.

TWIN CITIES BIKE TOUR

Ride the Twin Cities Bike Tour on Sunday, September 14, 2025, starting and finishing at Wabun Park by Minnehaha Falls. Choose 20, 34, or 41-mile routes through Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and beyond, with rest stops offering snacks, music, and support. A family-friendly ride with route marshals, SAG vehicles, and mechanics, plus a free preride for new riders on Saturday, September 13. All bikes, including Class I–III e-bikes, are welcome.

CAPITAL CITY FEST

Capital City Fest returns to Saint Paul on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the historic Old Sears Parking Lot, 425 Rice St. This free, family-friendly celebration features a lively outdoor market of local vendors and makers, food trucks and drinks, live music, a kids’ zone, a car show, and community booths. The festival runs 11 a.m.–6 p.m. with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Admission is free; no tickets required.

URBAN MARKET

Local goods and community vibes come alive at The Urban Market, a space built for makers, growers, and doers. Every vendor is a small business with a big story, and shopping here means keeping it local and keeping it real.
